Z Button to Red. Problems.

Z Button to Red. Problems.
I tried changing my Z button to red. I did all the mechanical procedures but the Red button just lade there after I pushed it all the way on and it wouldn’t do anything. Just frozen in. Didn’t move. I tried two buttons from two venders on Amazon. So I’m going to order one from Paragon and see if “THAT” works. Any suggestions
