I thought that this sight was designed to help fellow vette owners resolve issues. Why is it that so many of the responses are inappropriate or from "Corvette wanta bees ." Looks like it is time to find a more appropriate source for answers

There's lots of good answers and info here. But it's a public internet forum - to get value from it you have to be willing to scroll through the posts of no interest/relevance.

Yes indeed. Amazing isn't it. Same folks that want to kill the value of these cars as well.

The most absurd, childish, needlessly confrontational thing I’ve ever had happen to me here was from a veteran member that bragged about owning 200 vettes or some such garbage

I’m not seeing what you’re seeing

What’s happening that’s unacceptable here?

......and to be clear, I am only on my second Corvette, and I will freely admit that I have a learning curve. THATS why I like this site because I can get up to speed.

I intentionally dont post or flame anyone that likes things different.

I dont prefer high wings. I dont prefer ghetto stuff. I dont prefer neon paint and LEDs that shine on the ground while driving.

BUT I respect others and dont bother posting in their threads and just overall try to be an encouragement to others because life is short and being a keyboard commando is for underachieving man-boys that would NEVER in a MILLION years be physically confrontational with another man, yet encouraging others is if benefit to you as well as the other person, and I'd rather wear a smile than tear people down

Like many of us, I have been part of several forums over the years. This is by far the most informative of any of them. Recently I have seen the same thing. It is a shame, but it is a small part of the group. Just take the good and ignore the bad.

It's just way too easy these days for folks to upset each other no matter which side of the fence of any number of issues you are on. I am a boomer and I will say it! Damn I miss the good ole days!

There is always a “Richard Cranium” in every forum…they’d rather waste their time dressing someone down because they dared ask a question that has been asked before or admonish someone to read their owners manual when they could have used that time and energy being polite and answering the questions. I just ignore them and move on as I figure they’re just miserable jerks.

Complaints, Suggestions & Questions
If you have suggestions for the improvement of the Forum, questions or criticism of the Forum or its moderation, you are welcome to PM or e-mail a moderator. Please do not use an open thread for such messages, however.

That would include, but is not limited to discussions about who has been banned and why.

The work on the Forum's volunteer moderators is difficult enough without having folks calling them out in open threads.
