I didnt like the play in the first 1/4 of the pedal. In reverse in a tight spot you never knew when the engine was gonna go. The Soler Contoller is how it should have come from the factory.
We currently have 3 Vettes….. my wife’s C7 Stingray M7, my C7 Z06 M7, and C8, obviously an auto…. Every single one of them have a throttle controller…and all my previous Vettes as well. That is the first mod my Corvettes usually get…. Followed by an MGW shifter 😊…. It’s almost comical when people who have never tried one say “just give it more gas” it is a mod that needs to felt first hand. I currently use Solar Controllers and have been very happy with them. The only downside is they have skyrocketed in price over the years….

As have bread, meat, my product prices and raw material costs!
Yep before Soler had a "get more throttle opening with less pedal movement" device they sold a true improved throttle body (and still do.) Mike at Soler has a great understanding of tip-in throttle response. Since my business involves transient gas flow including "choked flow" was interested and bought one for my C7 Grand Sport. It performed better than the Vitesse throttle controller I bought to get what I had in my non-MRC 2014 Z51 I always drove in Track. I was used to its linear throttle response not the little "old lady schoolteacher" slower tip-in setting in Touring. Was an issue for me with a standard shift when taking off re clutch/throttle response.
