Came across this the other day, while I was washing my car. I had the windows tinted about 6+ months ago and never seen this in previous washings. However, I wash the car in the shade and I suspect it hide the "thing". It is going into the shop next week for them to look at it, but for now.....I figured why not keep the forum entertained.
To me.....it looks like a droplet of dirty water, that dried and the dirt was left behind. There is no bump in the film, but it is differently under the film.
Pretty much any tint job is going to have a couple of those tiny imperfections. You can bust their ***** and get them to redo it and you'll just have another one or two somewhere else. Just being honest...
Dude if you’ve had the car tinted 6 months ago and just noticed it…..are you really going back to the tinters? Guaranteed you will be the talk of the shop!
if ya gotta squint its not there! I’d not waste the gas going there.
You, visiting your tint shop and placing the microscope on the window - ‘come here so I can show you this imperfection on 100X from the shoddy work you did 6 months ago.’
Looking forward to seeing the YouTube video - “Darren brings his Corvette back to the tint shop”
