2025 C8 Z06/7/E-Ray of the Year Finalist - Unmodified
At my daughter's soccer practice. The father with the Ferrari brought his small son along and he told his dad, "Look daddy, there's another Ferrari next to yours".

Not sure the purpose of this thread but I do know I cannot afford a Ferrari Pisser or whatever it is. All seriousness, I would rather have 6 C8’s vs one of those. Rarity yes, but I don’t care.
I'd take the Ferrari's body styling but in every other metric it isnt worth the $$ over a C8.
I"d love a C8 with the transmission from the Lexus LC500 simply for reliability.
That said, choosing between a C8 and a Ferrari is a no-brainer. Even if the DCT on a C8 fails out of warranty, I could replace it 10x over and still spend less in total than a Ferrari 488. The body styling is the ONLY area I feel the C8 is lacking because of the dumbass golf bag requirement (fat asses arent my jam).
I do love the softer lines of the Italian, and that's kinda why it took me a few years to warm up to the C8. Otherwise, the bang for the buck with the Corvette is absolutely a no brainer. I've driven a couple of Ferrari's, and it didn't blow my socks off any more than any other higher end sports car I've had. I really think the C8 is one car that just looks better in person, pictures just don't do it justice. I walk out in the garage a couple of times a day just to look at it.....

The storage space is not just for golf bags, C8s make great vacation cars because you can pack a couple of bags.
I found a nice 2020 with low miles for 670,000..... what a deal. Do they still have internal belts that require changing?
Just had a full 30K service -- plus quite a few other things done, including belts - on my '88 328 GTB, one of but 1,344 GTB's made total, one of 89 US spec cars, and one of only two in North America in the silver/red combination. Have owned my Ferrari for 11+ years. Been driving Corvettes for 34 years. My C8 is my 8th Corvette... I wanted a Ferrari for 60 years. It was worth the wait.
A father who drives his son to soccer in a Pista probably doesn't have the same concerns many of us have on a day-to-day basis and that is fine. Pistas and Speciales (458 derivative) are special cars.
Let me say this: Mid Engine Ferraris are special. The tactile feel you get from the car is special. IMHO, the C8 is no where near that. Most cars are not. Cars are not just a spec sheet. Feel is important when you shell out 6 figures.
