Default Frunk wont close 2nd click!

Hi,
I’ve had my Z06 on battery tender, for the last couple months!
I thought Id take it for a ride!
I removed the tender and tried to close the frunk!
It will go to the first latch but will not close to the full latch.
when I started it the , it sounded like it didnt have full charge !
it did start tho.
I tried both the interior and outside release!
you can hear it wanting to work?
does voltage have anything to do with it!
any help appreciated!

If you start the car without putting your foot on the brake the voltage readout will be the battery. When you start the car the display changes to the rate of charge.

This happened to me after 33 days. My problem turned out to be a faulty CTEK tender. After sitting for 30 days and 3 or 4 attempts to start, the batter would not longer take a charge. Had to be replaced.

Good thing your started.

The locking mechanism times out. Just push the button under the headlight assy to reset it.

Ok, the car wont drive unless the frunk it close on the 2nd closing!
i know there is some kind of emergency drive up too 45 mikes!

I did the touchpad under the headlight and the one on the door!
That didnt work for me!

I did resolve it! by taking the two rubber shock under the hood and turn them down!

thanks guys for the input!

I went through this until another forum member pointed this out to me. I have to hit my unlock button on my fob twice to completely wake the car up. I also have to unlock the frunk and raise the hood. I'm sure there's some buggy software as sometimes I don't always have to unlock the frunk or it's a time related thing. Just hit unlock on your fob twice and unlock the frunk(hold the button until you hear it) and I bet she will work!

Glad you got it resolved. Best to document all these potential ways to fix this.
