With only 1758 miles i had a transmission problem. After evaluation, it was identified that the transmission needed to be replaced. The issue, which occurred on April 8, 2024, was caused by a displacement in the clutch drum, resulting in a puncture in the oil pressure tubing. This caused a significant reduction in transmission pressure, leading to premature wear of several internal parts and ultimately.
Has anyone else experienced this issue with their Corvette C8?
Any insights or advice would be greatly appreciated

How did the car drive that let you know you had a problem....or is this something that is really obvious when you try to drive
FAR too many such problems are reported here and have been since the cars came out. Just gaze down the first page here or do an "Advanced search" across the C8 Forum for more than you'll likely ever want to read about the issue. All the best, in any event.

Here's the thing about that, there probably fewer than 100 original posts about DCT failures. Most of the posts are from people complaining about the unreliability of the DCT but didn't actually have a problem. Every time a poll is taken there are far fewer than 100 people that said they had an actual problem.

During a trip between cities, on a stretch of less than 100 miles, my Corvette C8 suddenly stopped. It wouldn't move forward or backward, and service messages began to appear. Given this situation, I am gathering evidence to pursue legal action. If you could help me find similar cases or provide any insights, it would be greatly appreciated. Your support in this matter would be invaluable to me.

Lots of posts here where this or similar things happen. A new post just a couple of days ago, where a C8 just died in traffic and would not turn over. Turned out to be a faulty main fuse. Reading posts here for 5 years, I've concluded that the odds of having any kind of failure are more than I'm willing to deal with at this point in my life. I know many here have had no issues at all, and I think that's great, others have had up to 4 transmissions replaced. Too bad too, as I think the C8 is an awesome car, looking at them in the flesh on the showroom approaches sensory overload, and every time I check them out I'm close to writing a check. I've already got a couple of my dream cars in the garage that have proven to be 100% reliable, otherwise I may take a chance.
Best of luck, hoping these problems will end soon. I think they may come with the complexity of new vehicles and customer demands for more and more features, not limited to the C8.

Interested in what your intended legal action will be….

A poll was around 5 percent reported DCT replacement. I spoke with a gentleman at a car show with a beautiful XKE . He told me to purchase an extended warranty as he had his DCT replaced. Three months later mine was replaced with 6100 miles.
