C8 Headlight replacement / PPF?

My Chevrolet dealer replaced my headlights today under warranty due to moisture getting in however they said that they do not pay for the PP that was on the headlights to be replaced. Has anyone else had the PPF reimbursement cost as part of the warranty replacement?

Any thoughts on getting GM to pay for the PPF on the headlights?

Anything you add is NOT covered under the warranty. Exception would be GM approved parts/accessories which have their own warranty.
