If you are getting a black interior, save your money and stick with the LT2.
If you're doing a color (red or camel), and want lots of it; then flood it with color and grab the LT3.
If you're a bigger guy, grab the LT2 (wider seat bottoms).
If you're skinny, you'll fit in the LT3 seats better.
Daily driver or tourer? Stick with the LT2 (more comfortable seats).
If you're tracking the car or drive it aggressively, the LT3 seats will hold you in place better....
Since you are spending C8 money go with the most equipment you can get which is the 3LT. Cool stuff for you and it will help the resale down the road. get the GT2 seats and you are in business.
3LT doesn't come with any extra equipment over 2LT.
3LT gives better material quality and unlocks the ability to pick certain interior colour options as well as including GT2 seats but the equipment is the same as 2LT.
So if you don't want suede headliner and A-pillars, the ability to pick dipped interiors or stitching colours or nappa leather then go with 2LT.
Basically if you were going to pick a black interior with no options don't pick 3LT.
3LT is ONLY interior material upgrades and colour options along with GT2 seats as standard, that's it.

You're getting the codes mixed up. LTX is an engine code, XLT is a trim level. LT2 is the engine in the Stingray, 2LT is the trim level. I know GM doesn't make it easy but if you like Corvette's its a pretty easy distinction to notice.
I have a 3LT and I love it. In fact this is my 2nd 3LT and the leather dash has been perfect in both.
However, I just drove a 2LT at Ron Fellows and it had the GT2 seats and the red stitching with suede steering wheel option. And the only difference I could see was the plastic cover over the Bose speakers and plastic on part of the arm rests. Both could be covered with Carbon Fiber parts for very little money. So, if you like a more leather enhanced interior get the 3LT. Likely you’ll be happy with either one. Good luck.
It's only been a problem since the C6, so they need more time to sort it out .
Since 2008, I've had 3 3LZ cars, only one had the problem and the dash was replaced under warranty. Neither of the C8 2LT cars had any issues but replacing the dash parts is much easier than on prior models. I know others disagree, but I just don't see the value of the 3LT, 99% of people will never notice any difference, especially starting with the 25's where the steering wheel airbag cover is the same on 2 & 3LT's. The 3LZ Z06 at least includes carbon fiber on the steering wheel, something very noticeable.
Hello. I can’t seem to find much difference between 2LT and 3LT. What to go with? Thank you
I've always ordered 2LT with GT2 seats and that is my sweet spot with the options I'm looking for. Depending on interior colors, etc. you might need to go with 3LT.
I concur with above. No point to level 3 trim if you are going black interior. If you aren't going black interior--IMHO it is 100% worth the upgrade to level 3. This is why my preferred trim of SCG I would only want in level 3. Blue, SCG, Red, Tan--all just add a layer of appeal by having the interior paneling match.
You will get a lot of responses but most will agree on the 2LT with GT2 seats, I prefer the Coupe over the convertible for several reasons.
The Mag-ride I did not go with but I did select nose lift and if you can, I highly recommend option R8C (NCM delivery).
You really need to go to Kentucky and see GM employees doing Gods work, the friendly folks there are truly doing great things and Your car will be delivered by some of the best people in the business.
I wish you the best on Your journey, this forum is a wealth of information to help get you through this amazing experience.

Very simple! If you can pic an interior you like in a 2LT, opt for the GT2 seats and save ~$3500! Yep in my case wanted Natural Dipped for my 2020 C8. No choice, only available with 3LT. Same with my E-Ray. Wanted Artemis Interior to match mu Cacti exterior. No choice needed a 3LZ! Smart Marketing IMO. Your choice but little doubt GM makes higher margin on 3LT/Zs. Yep I have a nicely stitched headliner in my Coupe. But have to ben my head far back, which I never do. Few other improvements but you also get GM's faux Mulan "leather" for the dash that a few find bubbling etc. The Vinyl in 1 and 2LT has no reports of the issues. But have had 3LT4 Vettes no dash issues.
BTW even the GT2 seats where the seat inserts are real tanned animal hide has bolsters made of Mulan. The only other real tanned animal hide may be the Drive Mode Wrist Rest!

For what it's worth, here are todays current screen shots on resale (Auction) value for a 2023 C8 Convertible 2LT vs. 3LT
As always, a vehicle is only worth what someone will pay for it. These are just estimated numbers that are showing today.
The big caveat with 3LT is to protect your dash from the sun as best possible as others have mentioned. I had problems on my old 3LT C7 Z06 with the real leather.

We had no use for the Z51 performance package. So spent the budget on the aesthetics of 3LT. Lots of upgrades you need to look for. Subtle bells and whistles not found on the 2LT. To each his own.
I went with the Red Mist 2LT coupe and the black interior. Pretty much the same options in the 2LT without the 3LT price. I did want Natural interior but IMO it shows dirt to easy. The fact that the car came with the Z51 option and Mag Ride was just icing on the cake. Love the car and people compliment it all the time. So…..
Designer Imagines A Corvette That Looks More Like a Corvette Than the Corvette
