You may want to check the lemon laws in your state. In my state if my car qualified for a lemon law buyback I have 4 years from the original "breach of warranty" to file a claim. My 4 year old C7 with 40K miles became a buyback because of previous problems qualifying it for a lemon law buyback.
If the car is under warranty, play the 3x repair game. After that head for the lemon law board if it is not fixed.
Huh? You do realize for this to hold merit the car has to be under 12mos old right? The car in question is a 2021. If it has 5mi on it the lemon law does not apply.
A car failing this way with so few miles, and you seriously have the gall to ask why GM should do anything?
Bloody hell.
Why yes there are certain things called contracts. When you buy a new Corvette you are told upfront the bumper to bumper minus consumables is 3/36. You can elect to get an extended service contract and if you don’t you roll the dice.
GM is under no obligation, nor should the fix this car. They held up their end of the agreement now it is time for the customer to hold up theirs.
Car is out of 36 month warranty. Why should GM do anything?
Drive train warranty lasts longer, and OP's latest issue certainly sounds drivetrain related. No reason to be a GM apologist for major ongoing drivetrain issues for C8. Yes they do happen to all cars, but the C8 certainly seems to be having more than its fair share.
As for the other guy in this thread shitposting, I have YET to see a thread he hasnt been troll posting. Dont think I recall ever seeing anything productive from him. Not gonna name names though. It's obvious to any sane person with eyes.
All 7 of mine have been just fine, no major issues.
OP's car is 3+ years old. You've had 7, so you werent keeping them long enough to discover any problems that werent infant mortality. Lucky you that none of the 7 had EARLY problems (in your avg of what 6 months of ownership of each?). Not sure how citing this is productive at all for the OP. Of course that likely wasnt the goal.
