I've been you tubing exhaust for so long. They all sound the same to me now. Just asking for recommendations on good quality and fit. And of course, sound! Four valve cat back and headers. Appreciate it 👍

there is no substitute for finding a good Corvette meet somewhere around you and going and listening to a few different Exhausts. I agree, you can’t look at YouTube vids and get any idea whatsoever. I have an AWE touring Exhaust on mine and I’m very happy with it, I heard it at a event close to my house.

Good suggestion to go to a larger car show and see what exhaust is on some of the cars. Owners may be glad to start up their car and let you listen to the exhaust note.

The OEM performance exhaust surpassed my expectations before I switched over to the Z06 so I found no need for aftermarket substitute.

When I bought my C6 it had aftermarket exhaust and I hated it. The drone inside was ear splitting. I think the best sounding exhaust is factory. My neigbor has a C8 with factory exhaust. I live on 3 acres and I can hear him come and go every day. It's loud. I won't be changing mine out either.

Exactly ... remember swapping stereos out was the first big thing to do and then BOSE came about and they engineered a great sound FOR the car.

That said, on my C5 (Last Convertible of the Century) I did go with Corsa's Indy system for the loudness as then the factory exhaust was weak at best - and even the tips looked weak - I love the C8 Z51 black tips and sound from what GM provides (plus, no place now to store the take off parts!)

Corsa 4 valve system here, and love it! Sounds amazing valves open, super nice to close valves and cruise on hwy too. If I had to do it all over again, I'd buy the exact same system. My only complaint is price, but thats just the name of the game with C8 npp systems.

Videos never do systems justice and it's easy to get analysis paralysis when comparing options - Corsa or Borla are the way to go IMO if you are looking for a system with AFM/NPP valves.

I'd also consider (quality - Soul, Corsa etc) high flow Cats. They will give you more volume without changing the tone. Headers are usually my last addition as Cats/Exhaust are a better ROI.

I have a bunch of systems in stock and would be happy to extend forum pricing.

Feel free to give me a shout to discuss - PM or call/text (267) 788-4897

If you want something that definitely has a different sound...... LeMans Edition Center Exit Exhaust has a higher pitch sound, looks stunning too ! Mine is their Track version, with NO mufflers, NO valves..... NO Drone or NO CEL either with the 4 Paragon Performance chip simulators that plug in..... and a great sound. It's more of an Exotic sounding exhaust..... higher pitch. More Euro sounding. Great burbling when downshifting, etc.

If at any point I decide that I want the mufflers and valves, I can just purchase that section of their exhaust and put it into the system WITHOUT removing the rear bumper again. Everything to gain, nothing to loose....... HOWEVER, I don't see me ever doing that. Love it as it currently is..... TRACK setup.

Video sound clips DON'T do it any justice. Extremely HIGH QUALITY, electro polished..... fit and finish is second to none. This stuff looks like jewelry !!! They provide the 3 piece fiberglass trim pieces for the center exit set up. All the pieces join together with "V bands"....... no typical muffler shop clamps used here.

After initial installation, I swapped out the tip rack FROM fully polished to one with Black inside of tips and back rack and the exterior of the tips are polished. Love the two tone look !!!

I installed it myself with my buddy's help in a day.

These folks have the BEST customer service I've dealt with in a very long time. Really great to work with.....

AWE Touring here, and never looked back. Get daily with it, sounds awesome, no drone. Easy, peasy. Follow the advice, go to a meet and listen to different systems. There are several out there that anyone would be happy with.

I've only heard the Borlas on two different Stingrays. Both had a great sound from the outside. I have a Z06 so I'm happy with the factory set up.

Simple, just go with the Borla system GM accepts.

I’m half there on GM Card points and like there being no question about warranty… anyone have experience with them? Have read not super loud but wondering about tone.

Spoke briefly with a dealer regarding the GM Borla Exhaust system.........$6200 out the door with that so-called warranty. Take your pick. Corsa is the way to go for half that price and it's a preferable sound for me.

do a search here for the GM borla exhaust. Many have said, including a few that installed it and then changed, It was the same volume as the NPP option. No better. There are many Exhausts out there that are a lot less money than 6200… my AWE was about 3300 installed…

I know everyone loves the Borla since it’s “GM approved”, but I’ve noticed over the last few years it seems to be the system most spoke of to have CEL issues.
