C8 Backup camera not working (error code in message)
My backup camera is not working and the screen shows the below message. Please note I am referring to the backup camera while in reverse and NOT the rear view mirror camera. I also attached a picture of the message. My dealer is not helpful. Has anyone else experienced this and has a solution? thanks
Often times, start up processor fails will correct themselves after an ignition cycle or two. Following a couple of normal drives that include a shift into reverse it may clear itself.
I'm sure that message is not one a user is ever meant to see. If your dealer is not helpful and this is still happening have them bump it up to tech support or find another dealer. If the problem has cleared itself after clearing the cache or disconnecting & reconnecting the battery then it is not a problem - just a glitch.
