We have one of their Chevy dealerships close to where I live and they try to market themselves as a prime Corvette dealer. They were carrying a lot of used Stingrays when new ones were hard to get. They did let me take one for a test drive.
Florida now requires all dealers to add their dealer fee (aka doc fee) and all other fees to their websites. They are not charging over MSRP for the car. Check out a Kia or Nissan website and you will find the same thing. These fees you see are not addendums. They would be in addition to these.
Edit: and a dealer can't omit a dealer fee for a transaction. They are required by law to charge the same amount to everyone.
I think the bigger news is that they are announcing the C9 for 2027, not the dealership itself. If there is an inkling of truth to this ad which I am taking with a grain of salt, then that's 2 years ahead of what has previously thought to have been the C9 introductory year.

Are they trying to push beyond the C8, have to wonder!

They are so charging over MSRP. Not trying to offend anyone who likes the dealership and or is on the list. The facts are the facts. I just looked up my paper work for Z06 and its as follows:
Dealer fee/tax $475
Title Fee $33
This dealer is charging 2K, to get out the door with some "Electronic Filing Fee". Never heard of that. Highway robbery. Maybe its a Florida thing. I wonder what else they dont have to advertise that you get hit with before you get out the door. It may be more like 3k by the time you get out of there. Anyway. Lets go to your argument of MSRP. Lets just say that some people are comfortable with paying an additional 2k over MSRP for a car they paid MSRP for. Ok.
Lets talk about the elephant in the room. Any educated buyer for a C8 is not going to pay anywhere near MSRP for a C8 stingray that is on its 6 year in production. Yet this dealership marks them at MSRP and then adds 2k on top for fees. Keep in mind. Volume dealers discount cars to move them right now, and actually small town dealers often offer better discounts than the big 3 to offload inventory. Yet this dealer whom has aspirations to become a volume dealer is charging 2k in fees from MSRP on a car that can be had almost anywhere with deep discounts and about 500 in docking fees etc.

Curious how you might define "anywhere near MSRP" ... do you have a percentage, a number, a formula .. please share - as a "buyer" am genuinely curious.

Yes. The easy button is start here. This is a good indication from the number 1 volume dealer what you can get a stingray for plus aprox $600 or so dollars in fee's out the door. Its the best place to shop to see if they have what you want. If you cant find it there, you can simple order one and wait, or get on the chevy site and search the database for cars from dealers in this price range or better.
