My '22 is at the 3 year mark so I made a appointment to have the DCT fluid replaced. I had an appointment at 8:00 a.m. this morning to have it done at my local chevy dealer. But prior to taking it in my wife tells me that it's making a rattling noise on the left rear around the air intake. I couldn't hear it inside the car so I got out and sure enough it was making a rattling sound. So I took the car in and dropped it off. They call me and tell me the fluid change was done and the fluid that came out was about as clean as the fluid they put in. But they said they think the clutch/clutches have an issue and their tech isn't certified to do any transmission work on the C8. So I need to take it to a dealer that has a tech certified on the C8 transmission. So I was able to get an appointment tomorrow at a dealership to drop it off. So I guess I'll have to wait and see what the issue is. Car only has 13k on it. Come to think of it, it did kind of sound like the rattle of the dry clutch in my Ducatti 999 LOL! Most of all I hope I'm not without my car for an extended period. CRAP!
Good luck, but if you have been following the DCT issues I'd not recommend holding your breath. And, 13K miles are many more than some... sadly to say. Hang in there!
Good news my DCT is OK. They are telling me that it is typical drive train noise and nothing to worry about. I'm not having any type of shifting issues so I guess I'll just wait and see.
So you have a 2022 making a rattling noise that you never heard before but the dealer tells you that it's typical drive train noise? Does that mean you bought the car used and haven't had it for long? Otherwise, that doesn't seem to compute.

I agree with this. I'd get a second opinion if the noise continues. Perhaps try to get a video if it's safe to, if the noise will register.

I got the car with 12000 miles. It has had no issues. You can’t hear the rattle unless you are outside on the passenger side. When I got the car home I left it idling and went to the passenger side but there was no noise.🤷🏻♂️ So I’m hoping they are right. The car runs perfectly so I guess I’ll just have to wait and see. 🤞🏻 I have an extended warranty so……I’m covered if it does have a issue.

I don't hear any 'rattles' from the drivetrain. Maybe the injector noise that everyone has, you're calling a rattle?

Most that hear it, report hearing the so-called injector noise when inside of the car, and mostly with the coupes. OP has to stand outside of the car, on the left side, near the air intake that is there. So it means its heard at idle. Seems to me if its the clutch, it would be heard equally on either side. It should be obvious if its the cooling fan - because that makes a lot more noise than just a rattle. Not sure its normal though. I don't hear mine rattle.
If the rattle is consistent, OP could test a little bit by having his wife (who originally heard the sound) to stand outside of the car while its put in D, and R, and N, and see if it changes, although not sure what the conclusion would be. If its the tailpipe flow control valve linkage rattling, that could be tested by allowing the car to operate in P, while changing the Driver Mode between Tour and Sport. Those valves are closed at idle in Tour, and Open at idle in Sport. See if the nature of the rattle changes when the valves move. Does the sound change with RPM while idling - using the gas pedal? Could it be a pin hole leak in the exhaust system? I have seen examples where some described that sound as a rattle.
I assume that the dealer checked for DTC and found none. So if there is a rattle is probably something else loose.

So far I haven’t been able to reproduce the noise. My initial thought was it was fan related. I’m sure the dealership checked the DCT. I like your suggestions and will try them. Thanks
