New C8 for me
For years I've been waiting patiently for C8 prices to drop, and now seems to be that time. I bought the car at Ciocca Corvette (formerly Kerbeck) in Atlantic City. They had 10 % off MSRP for every Stingray on the lot. They had 98 Stingrays, 11, E-Ray, and 34 ZO6. I had a blast just walking the lot and looking at so many C8s in one spot. As most know there is also a current $3,000 incentive for Costco members, which unfortuately didn't include me.
I traded in a low mileage 2109 2LT Stingray coupe in River Side Red metallic with a seven speed manual. These cars have really held up well relative to resale/trade in value. Between the trade in and the 10% off I was able to move up to a C8 without a big outlay of cash. I also picked up the Platinum 7 year warranty for a very good price. The staff at Ciocca were very knowledgeable and easy to work with making it a no stress enjoyable sale.
I had a two and half hour drive home and my initial impressions were 100% positive. What an amazing car! I've been fortunate enough to have owned every Corvette generation except the C1 and Im amazed at how the car has transformed from generation to generation, with the C8 representing the most radical change.
One of the things that I love about the C8 is that you can buy a reasonably priced (for a sports car) 1LT, a super high end ZR1 or something in between, all based on the same platform. Something for everyone!
I added some pictures. I'm told the wheels are a new option for 2025. They are called Sterling Silver Machined Forged Aluminum. Like most wheel options they were $995.00

LOL! On another note, I can't believe you have been a member on here since 2005 and only have 179 posts.
