So last month I ordered some Corsa high flow cats. I don't like the looks of the heat blankets and wanted to get them coated. I don't live all too far from the Jet-Hot office in Greensboro so I drove up and got them to coat the cats in blue pearl 1300. I went with this color to get as close to shadow metallic grey as possible. I know they aren't going to be seen all that often but, because Corvette!
Ive had Jet Hot do some coating for me a while back and it really worked getting the temps down in the engine bay. In the future I’d like to pull the entire exhaust system from my C8. I think it would be totally worth it down south where summer temperatures can stay above the century mark for several days at a time.
Mocked just need to torque them to spec. Thank you all for checking out the thread. I am by no means a hardcore mechanic but I love wrenching on stuff and just wanted to share.
