Does this hole belong here?

Changed the oil and DCT filter today. After everything was done ran the car and looked for leaks before putting shear plate back on. I noticed this little notch where the DCT and engine meet. The thing that caught my eye was that I could see movement inside of it. Not sure if that’s where is where the clutches are? Thought they were bathed in DCT fluid and clearly no fluid was coming out of there. Anybody know what that is or why it’s open to the environment? Normal?

It's a weep hole to let out fluids that leak (mainly the rear main seal in this case). You're probably seeing the flywheel.

LOL. I actually went and looked for videos/pics after I posted this. Apparently it’s normal as you adeptly pointed out
