The engine failed on my car late last Thursday afternoon. The car is undriveable. Tried to get a tow from chevrolet on Thursday but they couldn't get anyone there in time. The car can't be picked up till tomorrow. Can I get this car serviced at the dealership of my choice? I would like to get it serviced by a dealer that is good at engine change outs. I think it dropped a valve. it is undriveable and kind of stuck in the middle of nowhere.
anyone with experience in these matters?

Your past posts indicate that you live in Charlotte, North Carolina. I am sure there are dealership service departments around you that have qualified Corvette technicians that you can have your car sent to for service.
I think it would be more helpful to you if you could elaborate on your engine failure. I would think OnStar would have the codes. Sans a catastrophic failure like thrown rod, where only an engine replacement can fix the problem, “engine failure” is a non-specific term. If your car is under warranty, almost any dealership with a Corvette technician can look at your vehicle, but not all Corvette technicians are competent. You might have better luck finding help in the regional sections of the site:
My solution is that you Google Corvette clubs in the Charlotte Area. Contact one of the members (the president or membership person) and ask the name of the dealership that their C8 owners use. Where I live there are around 7 or 8 large Chevrolet Dealerships, I was given the dealership that most of the members use, and have been very pleased with their service department. Best of all they have this special camera system that must take hundreds of pictures, so there is no QUESTION if your car gets scratched. This really made me comfortable as my Z4 was scratched by the BMW Dealership, who couldn’t care less. Good Luck.
