Quick question regarding this, is there a way to have the default setting to Sport? It seems every time I start the car I'm in Tour mode and have to use the lever to switch. The car is new to me and have not had a lot of time to get into the programming of it.

Some early cars would restart in Sport mode (my 2020 does) but it isn't a documented feature and not all cars do it. Your best option is to set up My Mode like Sport mode. The car will restart in My Mode.

Set up MyMode and you’re good to go. Car will restart in MyMode.
My first year I drove with Manual shifting, Sport Mode, Track Mode, Weather Mode, and periodically Tour Mode (leaving the garage). I changed My Mode settings weekly and had Z set to every possible combination.
My second year I drove more with Manual mode but kept hitting the rev limiter when turning in T corners and it was slightly uncomfortable. I stopped using Track and forgot Weather mode. I also used Rapid Exit and burned $100 off the tires.
My third year I stopped using My Mode and forgot what it does. I used Sport and but more often Tour. Z got set to Louder
Now I am 90% in Tour mode and periodically Z for Louder.
What driving mode are most people using in everyday driving? My reason for question is I read a stiffer suspension in street use can cause a cracked wheel. Stiffer suspension would be fine on open highway. However city streets aren't the best/smoothest in any town. One unforseen pothole away from disaster. Thinking of dialing back from sport to tour, but I do enjoy that sport exhaust sound . My thought is save the extreme stuff for Z mode. In my previous vehicle (2015 C7) I did crack a wheel doing some $pirited driving. Not a fan of spending money on preventable sitiuations. Any thoughts.....
MyMode and Zmode. In addition to the customizable parameter setting, each of those Driver Modes also allow customizable DIC and HUD displays. I prefer the "Tour View" for the HUD which includes speed, gear position, shift indicator, and speed limit. For the DIC, I prefer the Track Display theme because it allow selection of 4 info tiles - whereas all the other DIC display themes only allow two info tiles. I select slightly different tiles for Z-mode than for MyMode. The car starts up in MyMode. A quick button push to Z-mode. And a quick twist of the mode control **** takes it back to MyMode. I have on occasion used Weather Mode when caught in very heavy rain.
