Default Coffee anyone?

So, this happened this morning.

I had a late start morning to get to work, so I decided to take the Vette to Wendy's for a quick breakfast, then come back home and wait for the time to take my work van to work.

I drove to Wendy's, had breakfast, then headed back.

Pulled into the turning lane in the middle of a 4 lane highway with my turn signal on, waiting for oncoming traffic to clear so I can turn left.

Unprovoked, A car coming from the opposite direction, its driver slows down and proceeds to throw a coffee cup at my car. Why?? I have no clue.

He doused my windshield and hood with coffee and kept on driving. At least he did not throw a brick or something sharp.

Some people just suck!!

I proceeded to drive on my way home and washed the car in the driveway as fast as I could.

That was a first for me....

Sorry you had to experience that. There are a lot of unwell people in the world. At least coffee can be washed away. You did a good job of not reacting, and I'll try to remember that next time something negative happens when driving!

Could be worse. I had a buddy many years ago who had a mint ND2 Miata. It was girly but he LOVED that car. Left the top down at a 4th of July thing and some hood rats drove by and threw a bunch of fireworks into it. Car burnt to the ground. He failed to see the humor.

Back in the '90's I had just detailed my C4 and was heading to a cruise-in. I passed a semi, and he spit tobacco juice and some of it hit the front window and some of it came in the side window. Some of it got on my wife. If I would have had a gun I would have shot him. I was mad as a hornet. It cleaned up, I got over it but now I know the evils are out there.

Me and a friend of mine took his C4 to the Corvette nationals. We stopped at a motel that was two story. He backed in a parking space right in front of the room. Some A-hole tossed a cigarette from the second floor, and it landed in the license plate recess. It burnt a sizeable spot. At least it didn't set the car on fire.

Is the event recorded on the PDR? If yes, give it to the Police.

I never park a sports car unattended in a public place.......A long long time ago I bought a Shelby Cobra (very provocative car) in LA and they arranged to have it stored overnight at the local Ford dealerships on the way home to the Pacific Northwest and gave me the name and number of the Service Managers and they were willing to come down early and late to open up the dealership and store the car and give me a ride to or from the motel......Shelby people said that until the title was in my name they did not want the car unattended ....to many had been keyed.....

I was amused that on one occasion they stored it in the showroom with the lights on...at that time people had seen plenty of Porsches and Corvettes but not many, if any Cobra's so they were very curious about the car...

Unfortunately there are some really sick people who are just frustrated with life and have to take out their frustrations on something, anything and anyone.

I got a full-on middle finger from some ***-***** for no good reason, simply because I drove by her on a boulevard. I must assume God dealt her a bad day (week, year, life).

Sorry this happened to your car and that there are people out there that just have no respect for the property of others.

That's a good idea.
I bought the car 2 months ago and I have yet the use the PDR.
Does it continuously record? That would be awesome.

One thing is that he was coming from the opposite direction. No front license plates in Tennessee.

I pulled up to a stop sign at a small country intersection and a kid in a beater Camaro was stopped oncoming towards me gave me the middle finger when he passed.
I am friendly to all, could not imagine what his problem was. I could not believe it, was that intended for someone behind me?

There is definitely a lot of extreme jealousy out there. Because I have something that costs more than they can afford.
The dirt bags that act out are probably not smart enough to realize that I worked my entire life to afford a car like this.

Jealousy and envy just eats some people up inside but still there is no excuse for someone to do that someone's car. I would have went off on him and probably followed him knowing my anger and personal sense of frustration. I'm sorry that happened to you.
