Check engine light
Hi Folks
Well, I have a 2022 C8 I purchased not too long ago. Slightly used and low miles. Fortunately I purchased a service package
when I bought the vehicle. The other day I noticed a check engine light, not flashing. Now before I find myself taking it to the dealer
i want to see what code is being thrown. I have a Innova 5210, OBD2 tester and can I use it (compatible) ?
If so how do I use it on the C8? The tester say turn the ignition on but don’t start. How do I do that on my C8? I also have Onstar
that can supposedly read the code thrown. How can I do that?

get the code from onstar by calling the helpdesk
my experience with them is not all the codes are available to them in certain situations.
