Default tinting my windows

doing this job later today, I am not near my car. I have a simple question: when you open the door, the windows drop a half inch or so, will hitting the door window switch pop them back up with the door open?

Good question - give it a try. Not sure if that will work or not.

My tinter had little tool that simulated the door being shut to keep the windows up. For the life of me I can't remember what it was call or find it on Google, sorry.

Close the latch on the door frame with the door open and the glass will go up. You can use a plastic trim tool or screwdriver. You will need to reverse the procedure to close the door when finished, the latch wont spring open by itself.
