Seems to me that you were hit from behind so whoever hit you doesn't their insurance cover this in Canada that's what happened I believe they would not write off the car
Hopefully not too late for this but that $58k is their first offer. Do some local used searches for very similar cars and see what you get back. My guess is they will all be a good ~$15k higher, maybe more. Might be tough finding many 22 2LT HTC with those miles, but there should be lots of 22 2LT HTC to use for comps. Start with that and see what they say, but be willing to put more work into this, it's worth it. They're trying to screw you, because they get away with screwing most folks every day. This is not polite time. You are in a fight with them.
When cars are available they should be funding a similar replacement, either buying that car for you or getting you a check for a similar amount. That should be your target, not their offer.
My .02 I'd go for the check even if it was slightly lower, chip in to get a '23 - '25 that you can still add the GMPP to cheap. As others have said, '25 on the lot shouldn't be that hard to find at a discount. Most are gonna want a '26 at this point. You just may have to travel for it or ship it if you are picky about specific options. 2LT should be the bulk of lot inventory.

Car Gurus is showing 255 new 2025 3LT/2LT HTCs available. I saw discounts from 5-10K off sticker just on the first page. I didn't look at all 255 cars.
