Took my 2022 htc vette in for an oil change / Service asked me to see me. Thats NEVER good...They told me I had a bent rim...It had been driving fine I felt nothing but he showed me the slight, very slight wobble in the right front tire...I have hit a few big pot holes but never thought anythiing about it..To replace the stock rim was $740.........I thought about leaving it alone...I never drive over 80 mph and did not feel any vibration....Decided to call my alstate ins. just to see...Turns out they will cover it...and since I have never filed a claim they reduced my ded. to $100.. 
I have no idea when it happened, it could have been that way for a while...You could barely see it and no tire demage...I have heard of others getting bent rims but this is my first..Always something...

If it is that slight I would get it straightened and not make a claim on my insurance. I had an AMG wheel that on the back side was shaped like a capital D. Sent it off and it was straightened to within thousandths of an inch.

Depending on what wheels you have, if it’s a base silver wheel, or even carbon flash, I’d just buy a used rim. You can get whole sets for $400 on here, and some guys will even separate just to get them moving!

thanks but at my age that isthatt too much work.. I have never made a claim and they reduced my deductible $400. appreciate that info
