I agree 100%..
Some people will never understand there are advantages of having a choice and enjoying both.... life will go on... it's not worth the time responding to "close-minded" comments.

My wife hates my Tesla. It’s not the EV of it, but other things Tesla.

And for those who haven't seen what looks like a plain Jane F150 can do ... our Lightning is quicker than our C8!

Since when is a 4 second to 60 and 107MPH in the quarter mile quicker than a C8? You might want to turn off the teen driver settings on the C8.

In regards to the original post I've never met Ghost's wife but I sure like her style. As far as electric vehicles are concerned I own one and am not overly impressed, I can refill all my other vehicles combined faster than a recharge...........oh did I mention my electric is a golf cart?

This conversation…..anti Tesla always makes me think of when folks 100 years ago said I’ll keep my horse! Technology is constantly changing, those with close minds and blinders will be left with a horse! Funny most folks never take the time to even try something different, see for themselves. But they are certain everyone else, not drinking what they are idiots.

there are simply amazing electric cars out there and more to come. Got my deposit on a c9 interesting to see what that drive train will be. Fastest cars around are electric. Down side to electrics are the weight. Hopefully newer batteries will be lighter.

Yep, I agree.... I love my sport cars, I own 2 Corvettes, a 2003 C5 Z06 and 2025 Stingray Z51. I recently sold a 3rd, a 2010 C6 GS Convertible and purchased a 2025 BMW M2. Even with owning those three cars, I daily drive an equally great / fun car IMO, a 2024 KIA EV6 GT.
I have already clocked almost 20K miles in just over a year in the EV6, and I am already looking for its replacement, this is high on my list:

Except some of the very first cars were EV, it's not like it's some new technology. Here you go, this is a 1900 EV, of course some genius will try to correct me and say it's a hybrid.

I don't give a rats *** about EVs. This is a Corvette forum. We love our cars. All else is just spam. Anyone coming into a forum about a specific item and tossing about how the opposite is better is just trolling.

It's like someone being on a New York Yankee forum being all put out because others aren't open minded enough to see the talent the players of Boston have.

I disagree. It's like the same person over and over again.

It's more like someone being a Yankees fan being put out because someone's stadium was built first. And then a post about who won a game in 1944, and then a post about their teams mascot. Who cares.

Comparing cars to sports? Come on how absurd! I can 100% control what I drive! I can’t control some super spoiled overpaid supposedly athlete. That’s why I do not follow major sports and soon will be giving up college. It’s money and greed.

I’m a car guy! I enjoy them all, every car show I go to there’s always something new, someone to talk to who is proud of their ride. I’d never go up to anyone and say there car sucks. On this forum I am never critical of someone’s choices, it’s their money and preference.

Op was pointing out a Tesla observation, that’s how this topic rolled. You got nothing nice to say, walk away from the keyboard.

Sorry, it's a forum and it's where differing views can be found. That, and I don't take orders from anyone, certainly not from someone on a forum.

Good for you! Gee idk I ordered you to do something on a forum!

I learned this long ago….. I did a project for an executive. Nice guy but very narrow minded. I was a young punk now an old punk!

He looked at the study…said you did a great job….
but…..don’t confuse me with the facts my mind was already made up.

have a great day Phil!

"You got nothing nice to say, walk away from the keyboard", sounded like a directive to me.

have a great day!

I saw a 2022 tesla s plaid by me go for 52k with only 21k miles - i would have been interested but the paint was rough...had my detail guy look at it and he told me the tesla paint is notoriously thin and gets beaten up.....if it didnt look so rough I might have pulled the trigger and traded my SR and then swapped out my prius prime in 6 months when im ready for an eray.

EVs have crazy steaight line speed, they just get boring after that.

I'd rather have a corvette with amazing sound and juat a touch slower...unfortunately i still feel the eray is more than a touch slower and I cant justify 200k for a zr1...so

I wonder if this infers that eventually there will be no such thing as "motorsports" in the world ...??? and all the ICE race cars will exist only as museum exhibits and all the race tracks will be demolished and tuned into EV charging stations ??

Someone built a jet powered school bus that goes 300 mph, but look at it - its a school bus - Corvettes are beautifully designed machines and are a relatively high performance in addition to the attractive looks.
Tesla CyberTruck is fast, look at it....
