Windshield
Wife and I went on a 3000 mile road trip and ended up with a broken windshield.
Dealership ordered OEM replacement on August 4th, Ive been in contact with them regularly since order placement.
Dealer told me today, that the manufacturer is out of stock and the soonest they could possibly get one in is September 10th.
Anyone else ever encounter this issue? 6 weeks for a windshield????????????????,

Worth considering. Although you can tell there's something on your windshield it has saved mine on 2 occasions.

Check around - the dealer supply chain is sometimes very slow.

Mobile windshield repair guy doing work on a neighbor's car told me the difference in OEM windshield and aftermarket is that the OEM comes in a box. Same manufacturer just different delivery.
