After 13 months with the Z06, I just picked up a '26 Stingray. I miss the engine sound immensly but really am enjoying the ride equally as well, besides that. The new dash and software is fantastic! Gas mileage is about 40% higher but I blame that on my right foot. Insurance is half of the Z06 with Hagerty, Trade was stronger than I thought and got a nice discount on the '26. And no fire hazards! Needed tires anyways. At least that is what I told the wife.
That's a really nice looking Z06! The white with black accents looks great. That had to be a tough decision. I've never driven a Z06 but it seems from various content here, that the SR is a more street friendly drive.
Now you get to start all over again with the yearly oil changes the 7500 filter change and the 3 year fluid change and maybe the tires the radiator grills in needed
but what the heyyyyy
For thinking the '26 dash is an actual "improvement" over the legacy 2020-2025 dash with driver-centric cockpit feel & Great Wall of Buttons .... yup - you have!!! LOL.
Actually it is ceramic gray. But I liked it. I had a 2024 Stingray with the same color. Got the Z bug and the wife never noticed. She thought I put aftermarket exhaust on!
Best of luck OP. This gen they changed the Z06 for the better (made it much more track oriented than C7Z). I experienced it for over a year. Do not regret a day of ownership. Glad I got this FPC out of my system. I loved the technology slund at wot (only) and idea, just not the way it delivers power for my needs.
A few folks who have had both the SR and Z06, have mentioned for everyday driving the SR is more enjoyable to drive. They mentioned the power band and the LT2 has more low end grunt and seems to be more responsive. On track there is no comparison, Z06 wins in every way.

Since you have had both now, whats your take?
You are 100% correct! The Z06 is fun to "drive" drive, but the SR is fun to cruise.

Variety is the spice of life. No do overs.
Eray is next on the list. Just waiting on pricing to stabilze and when the '26s are out I anticipate the target to move to the high 80s, low 90s.

Slideshow: A Jaguar designer's personal project imagines what a modern front-engined Corvette might look like if Chevrolet revisited the golden age of the Stingray.
