Default Car on QuickJack for Storage

I don't know if this is the right place to ask and I searched around but couldn't find an answer. My car needs to go in storage for an extended period of time due to some unforeseen circumstances, so I figured putting up in the air will stop dead spots from forming. Will it be fine if I leave it up there or should I find another solution. Some folks were saying something about the suspension being an issue with it just sitting in the air, but that didn't make sense to me. I figured I'd ask the big dogs about this since some of y'all put the car up for winter and y'all can point me in the right direction. Thanks in advance.

The suspension is happy when it is at rest with the weight of the car on it. It's not good for the shocks to be left at full extension.

If you're concerned about flat spots, buy flat spot stoppers from race ramps or similar products.

Right on. The car is going in storage in a couple weeks til the end of the year & then going back into storage until summer time. Time line is looking like a 3 month storage period, driven for a couple weeks, and then back into storage til June.

Last time the car was sitting for a couple months a flat spot developed, but it went away a couple weeks later after driving the car. I’m just trying to get a good idea on what I should do about it.

That's odd, mine sits in the garage from the end of October until April and I have never had a flat spot. Even if it has a slight one, it's usually gone in a few miles after the tires are up to temperature.

Yeah my whole car has been weird since owning it, but good to know. Were you hooking it up to a battery tender and putting gas stabilizer for the 6 months are letting it sit as is?

Mine's on a tender 365. I don't use gas stabilizer and never had a problem.

Just lift it enough to take the bulge out of the tire

I left my 2016 C7 on the lift for 37 months due to health issues and the tires were fine, inflated to 40 psi.....FWIW. Modern tires don't flat spot that I know of....
My 24 has been on the lift since last November because I've been driving my 911 which had been on the lift for about 11 months while I drive the C8...not flat spotting at al but psi set to 40. Getting ready to switch them now, not expecting issues.
