With football season fully upon us I have been successful in fitting my C8 with all the necessities for the fall football
season. The frunk holds an adequate cooler and "spirit" cabinet with the trunk holding 2 folding chairs, folding table, bluetooth speaker and other gear. The only issue is how to keep food warm. I know some will find this sacrilegious but it works! The first week I kept a pizza warm and last Saturday the subs were nice and warm. This will not cook anything. Subs are best when wrapped in plastic wrap and then foil.
Glad you enjoy using your corvette as a warming oven. But I’m gonna pass on that adventure.
Yep.... I learned many years ago to avoid taking a car you cherish to a football game due to the exponential percentage increase for a "severe dent event" from a fan driving a large 4x4 who has spent a bit to much time tailgating.
Decades ago, like in the 1960s, someone wrote a book about cooking food with your car. Had tips on things like wrapping your food in aluminum foil and putting the wrapped bundles on the exhaust manifold. It was both serious, in that the "recipes" worked, but also very much tongue in cheek.

…my mama read that book I’m sure…while cruising down to FL to see Gandma in the late 70’s, mama put hotdogs by the exhaust manifolds of or ‘77 LTD station wagon and we enjoyed them at rest stop on the way!
