I put put a borla atak on my Stingray and it was loud, probably a bit louder than a Z06. I would not want it louder. No cat deletes. They are expensive though, high flow cats will save you some money but in my opinion you might as well just get a cat back and call it a day but you will want to retain NPP function in my opinion.
For everyone else, NPP is the RPO code for the performance exhaust. It doesn't stand for anything. Its a GM thing to refer to things by the RPO codes, thats how Z51 got its name as well as a Z06, ZR1, even ZR2 and Z71 on GM trucks.
