GM always had a nice Silver. My 2021 is Silver Flair which in every car show people ask me what color it is. The nice this about Blade Silver as with Silver Flare is the C8 is "under stated and shows all the lines and creases of the C8. The dark colors hide them. Just it is what it is.

No it is not new for C8's but very rare.
Only 1130 total GS Blade Silver C8's were made for just 1 year in 2020 and it was offered as not an optional color like it is today in 2026. Just 20,368, 2020 C8's were made in 2020 because of a major GM strike and Covid. Through year 2025 there have been 143,500 produced, so without a doubt you will probably never see a C8 in Blade Silver, since well less than 1% of all C8's were produced in GS Blade Silver. Enjoy your new C8!

No, it is not new. The 2020 C8 was offered in blade silver. In 2021 blade silver was dropped for silver flare. For 2026 silver flare was dropped and blade silver returns.

Wow! That car sure looks familiar!! Except mine is Silver Flair with adrenaline interior and no whole body stripe! I like that you added the rocker cover. It sets the car off. Good luck !

Never have been a fan of silver, in any car. But to each it's own. Your money, your color. Last C6 was black, this one is Hysteria. Some people don't like that either, and that is OK too.
The Blade Silver is a very true silver. It looks great and I've seen in person.. I like it best with the body color exterior-accents, but to each their own.

Agreed, and this is the reason I've never owned a black car, it hides all the cool features. Black wheels, same thing.
When I see a black vette with black wheels and black interior and dark windows, looks like a blob. Yes, I have 20/20 vision.

You might want to try this. I used black wrap to add the piece behind the side windows.
