Yesterday, I needed to refuel my new Stingray for the first time. It was a real problem because the nozzle would hardly let any fuel flow before shutting off. Even with it set in the lowest flow setting, it repeatedly shut off over and over. I tried multiple things, such as pushing the nozzle in farther, twisting it 90 degrees left and right, etc. Nothing improved the operation of it. I hope the problem was the dispenser system rather than a problem within my car, but I will not have a chance to try it again until I burn off a few gallons.
Anyone here have any experience with this or any ideas?

Has happened to me a couple of times. Seems to be related to the nozzle not the car.
Look at the fueling diagram posted on the inside of the fuel door. It will show you the best way to get fuel to flow. Make sure you push the nozzle all the way in and let in hang down. I put a small microfiber towel under the nozzle so it doesnt touch the paint.
Look at page 240 in owners manual
Happens to me periodically. I live in an area with vapor recovery nozzles and they can be sensitive. I just play around with position until I find a sweet spot. I chuckle when people say you should stop fueling after the first click. I'd have to refuel again in less than a mile if I did that at some stations.
Had the same issue with my C7s. It's related to the:
Two tanks, one on either side of the car
The crossover tube filling the passenger side tank
The specific pump nozzle auto shut off mechanism or adjustment.
Agree with others helps with nozzle pushed in as far as possible. BUT some pump nozzles just appear to cause the issue. I stopped getting frustrated by simply:
Start with the pump nozzle turned 90 degrees CCW.
Always hold the pump lever and can use full flow, fills quickly
I have always had it trip off when full
See some turn nozzle upside-down and leave the nozzle set to flow, perhaps slow. PIA for those behind and some nozzles will occasionally not shut off if upside-down. PIA to clean gas spill
Nothing wrong with your car, it's the fuel pump. I've had that happen and pulling up to the next pump at the same gas station it worked fine. There must be a sensitivity setting or mechanism that just does not work on some pumps.
No real issues with pumps shutting off but some stations are better than others .....the handle being so close to the paint makes me wonder if the designers are having a laugh kinda like when they designed the rear and laughed thinking about us cleaning /drying it
Make sure you're not reading the fuel gage incorrectly. We had another member who received a new to them C8 and the tanks were already full. If that is not the case, try fully inserting the nozzle, start pumping slowly and then gradually get to full fill rate where you can lock the trigger.
For those who said that the problem was the dispenser, you were correct. Today I stopped at another station, made sure I had the nozzle in place like the diagram in the fuel door, and set the flow to the highest rate. It filled the tank without any shutoff until the tank was full.
Just a reference point, I’m over 12k miles and has not happened to me but maybe just lucky. I always fill at Shell stations (many different locations).
Most of the stations I use are really slow. I have to hold the lever at about half or it will click off. I can't get it to latch for hands free.
It takes a long time to fill up. Once in a while, I find one that has a good flow. But that is rare.

As I mentioned stopped getting frustrated with my 1st C7, a 2014. So for it my 2017 C7 Grand Sport my 2020 C8. I start right after inserting the nozzle turning 90 degrees CCW. While holding the fill lever fully on it fills quickly. Has always shut off automatically. With a relatively small tank fills quickly and folks behind the pump line don’t have to wait long for me to finish.
My E-Ray is better with most pump nozzles. If
I get one trip it’s back to turning 90 degrees CCW
On a somewhat side note, a quick google search says NY is the only state with a law making the use of gas pump handle clips for hands free fueling illegal. So it's always a hands on manual fill for me. Just have to go real slow sometimes, especially at the begining if it's really low on fuel. Usually gets better the more gas you get in it. My Silverado is the same way.
I have the same problem with my C7, BUT only at some pumps. I'm sure you've already been supplied with the varied "adjustments" that sometimes work with some pumps. Try of different pumps and stations.
