I hate those 'help me choose' threads, but here I am.
I'm 95% done with putting in some color to my car. This one here is about the engine X brace. The car is torch red, with an all black interior. Here are some pictures of my engine bay after some mods. My X brace was ordered in carbon flash, but I have a couple of cans of torch red and I can paint the X brace if I choose to. So here are some pictures, and thoughts are appreciated. Would a red X brace have too much red, or would a carbon flash X brace balance out the engine bay with some extra carbon flash?
Too much red already…my opinion is accent colors should draw attention to them but not over power the other colors otherwise they become the main color. don’t add more. What other colors does your car have.

I too have a diffcult vision/ decision of regular carbon vs. red carbon fiber

I choose regular, and awaiting delivery.
Painting, color change is a valid option.
I'd speculate you could wrap as a test before paint.

Thanks for the input. I ordered carbon flash for two reasons, first of all the torch red X brace was $70 more than the carbon flash, and number two is that I feel like I already have enough red under the hood, and enough is enough.

Mostly Amazon and a couple of other dealers.. I bought my engine covers and one other part at CRCP (www.classicrulescustomparts.com ) and they make quality stuff. I've never heard of CRCP, so I took a chance with their engine cover on my 2021 blue Z51, and when I brought my red car home, they were the first website I brought any part from.
