It also has no rear body - guessing that's where the plate is.

Yeah your right, the rear body is a couple of doors down, this crash took out 5 other cars, hit a gas line and nailed 2 stores entrances. It is about a mile from my home, and some film footage shows this vette at high speed just before. The street RT.13 is a main traffic into and out of a number of small towns and it was shut down for most of the day into night time, and there is a curve just after this crash site, but somebody's insurance is going to be huge bill ! At least no one was seriously hurt.

Possibly the driver door was hydraulically opened to help get the driver out. Appears the doors were oem.
