App Tracking
Will the "My Chevrolet App" leave a track or just tell where the vehicle is when parked?
I have never looked for it.
I am asking because a buddy's Ex is always telling him she knows where he is. He hates it!
Is there a way to maybe delete the app and reload it later so that she doesn't' have access anymore?
Boy am I glad that I am single!!

The car and Chevy-app cannot be tracked.
Cell phones can be tracked. But the feature on the phone can be enabled or disabled.
Cell phones have the tracking feature mainly for parents to know where their children are.
Others can correct me is I am wrong. Merry Christmas.

Yes, there's a "Map" tab in the app that shows the vehicle's location. I think that feature requires an OnStar subscription though. He needs to review his account and delete her as a user if that's the case. If not that then he might be sharing his location with her on his phone. If neither of those are the case, then she has his iCloud or the Android equivalent password. Needs to change any password to anything she might have had access to while they were together.

On the app it shows where my vehicle currently is parked.
After driving somewhere else and parking for a few minutes it shows the new location on the app.
No tracking that I can tell but location for sure!

What he thinks has happened is that somehow she got the required sign-in info and got herself on his My Chevrolet App.
He mistakenly didn't think that she was that tech savvy!

Bad divorce!! He is pretty sure that she somehow got the required info to get the My Chevrolet App on her phone!
In the middle of a heated discussion she let slip that the car was almost out of fuel.
Only way she could know was by the App.
Does anyone know how many vehicles you can get / control with the App?
