It is tied to the driver profile/seat memory. Set your HUD and seat position then lock it in with the door button.

Walter, in case you are not sure which button, here is the instruction for setting that into memory. Be sure everything else is still where you want it to be. Your seat needs to be where you want it for example - because its going to remember that when you save it.

I think you need to move everything back to where you want it (incl the HUD), then set the seat memory by following the instructions above, Once you do that, move a few things and then press and hold the position button you set it all to and see if if doesn't move back to where you programmed it to be.

I can't quite follow what you did. Get in the car and start it up with your key 1 in your pocket. Make sure you are using the key 1 on Fob. Insure that the DIC is showing you are driver 1. Keep the engine running. Make sure the steering wheel, seats, and HUD are where you want them to be while your are driving. If not, put them where you want them for driving. Press SET. Then press 1 and hold till you hear two beeps. That should set everything right where you have it positioned. Nothing will move.

To test it, move you seat, or steering wheel, press 1 and confirm that it moves back where you just set it. Try the same with the HUD position.

If that does not work, you may need to ask a dealer for assistance.
