As expected, first dealer was not helpful at all. Didn't really give me the time or day or care to listen to the background. Went through the motions with them and then was ghosted. Oh well.
Found another dealer in town that folks recommended (specifically an advisor that was recommended). They were absolutely wonderful. Listened to the whole situation. Recognized the car had very little miles. Was able to get the repair completed for way less than the $2,800 I would have paid out of pocket. $585 to be exact.
