I just purchased a 2025 Stingray with the “tech bronze appearance package,” which according to Chevrolet is a second set of wheels that comes with the car.
From what I understand, the car is delivered to the dealer on silver wheels, and the bronze wheels are shipped separately and installed by the dealer.
well the dealer is telling me I only get the wheels that come on the car, I don’t get a second set of wheels. Can anyone help me with a reference or something I can show the dealer that says I get both sets of wheels with the vehicle as part of the package?
thank you
I believe I got an awesome deal 2025 2LT Z51 90k MSRP For 69,500 after the 4,000$ rebate from GM for already owning a C7 corvette!
Your dealer is absolutely WRONG! The following is from the Official Online Order/Reference Guide:
5DG LPO, 19" x 8.5" (48.3 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20" x 11" (50.8 cm x 25.4 cm) rear 20-spoke Tech Bronze aluminum wheels. Includes Black lug nuts, Black wheel locks, and Tech Bronze wheel center caps. Accessory LPO wheels are a second set of wheels. Please ensure customer desires 2 sets of wheels before ordering. Genuine Corvette Accessory
Not available with R8C, SPZ, SFE, SPY, S47. Included with (PCX) Tech Bronze Accent Package, LPO.
If your dealer will not give you both sets of wheels, escalate to the Dealership General Manager and then to their Regional Director.

very excited for the car!
I wish you the best. If you bought the 25 off of the lot or used I suspect that the dealer has every right to decide what is included with the car and what is not. If you ordered the car and are not getting everything you ordered, different situation.

it should make no difference if the car was sitting on the lot or special ordered. The option on the car, which I paid 4,000$ for, includes 2 sets of wheels.

Again, I wish you the best. As I understand things, a dealer can add dealer installed options at their discretion and in your case remove something that the dealer ordered so long as they do not attempt to deceive you about what you are getting. Since you are getting a whopper of a nice discount on the car I don't understand "which I paid 4,000$ for" unless you are saying that you actually paid full retail price for that option seperatly somehow.

I paid for the car, which included the option, which includes a second set of wheels.
The price I paid does not mean they can remove options from the options list….. lol….. you can’t be serious right?
TB wheels are one of very few options that gives you a 2nd of something (some types of targa roof being another). Pitch a conniption fit until they give you what belongs to the car.
It would be like having a sticker that says you had carbon fiber wheels, and them trying to sell you the car with alloys--NEW.

I just purchased a 2026 C8 Stingray, actually now waiting on delivery about the end of the month. I also purchased the Tech Bronze accessory wheels. The dealer told me that I would only get those wheels and not the standard wheels. I sent a question to the Chevrolet online chat and received a quick response from a person named Candice as follows:
From Candice at Chevrolet:
Yes you will receive both sets! This is specified in the online order guide ( 5DG LPO, 19" x 8.5" (48.3 cm x 21.6 cm) front and 20" x 11" (50.8 cm x 25.4 cm) rear 20-spoke Tech Bronze aluminum wheels. Genuine Corvette Accessory)
Great question! Is there anything else I can assist you with today
I am working with a small dealership in a small town, and I believe that they had not had this type of order before for the Accessory wheels. They thanked me for looking into it. My plan is to keep the Summer only tires on the standard wheels for track use and install All Season wheels on the Tech Bronze wheels.
You may want to ask the same question to the Chevrolet on-line chat. Give them your order number or VIN number so they can look up your order.

My dealer didn’t even know where the original wheels were. I didn’t know I was supposed to get them until reading about it on this site after I bought the car. The dealer said he would pay me for the wheels but was dragging his feet and I grew weary of chasing them for the money. Upon the advice of a thread on this site I turned it all over to GM Customer service with the phone number in the manual under resolving problems. They chased the dealer for a couple of months and I finally received the check. Saved me a lot of hassle.
I think what the guys are saying, when it comes new, yes there are two sets, but if buying used and they don't have the extra set, or didn't put it in the ad as part of the package, just because the package originally came with two sets is immaterial unless it was in the negotiations.
My car only had one keyfob when I bought it used. The new car comes with two. This didn't mean I just get to have it for free if its not available, unless they specifically listed the car with two sets of keys (just an example)
Is this considered a used car.? If it is, you don't have leg to stand on. If you would have ordered it from the factory, of course you should have those wheels.
A couple of years ago I was looking at an in stock C8 at my local dealership that had the optional Tech Bronze wheels. The car had the base silver wheels on it and I was told they were waiting on the Tech Bronze wheels to be delivered. When I asked the salesman if the car came with both sets of wheels he said he didn't think so, but he would check with someone at the dealership and let me know. He called me back later and told me that the car only came with the Tech Bronze wheels and that they had to send the other wheels back to GM. I called BS as the Tech Bronze wheels are a separately priced accessory. They still maintained that the wheels had to be returned. This is the same dealership that took off a set of chrome wheels on a nice C8 HTC that an acquaintance of mine purchased from them and swapped them for a set of black wheels from a brand new C8.
