So there is a local group here in S. Florida called Dee's Road Rascals who do car shows once a month or so. Usually is the same people there, but some nice hotrods and customs as well as newer cars. Cost $15 to enter to have your car judged. It's all fun, part of the money does go to charity. Usually they have like 20 trophies to give out and there is 19 cars there, so everyone gets one!
Entered my car this past Sunday, figured I show off my new skirts and engine compartment bits.
Well I WON a Top 10 Trophy! WOW, I was so proud. The best thing that has happened to me this year! YIPPIE!!!
As great as it was, it was short lived. When I got home I figured out why I got a trophy. I think they were trying to get rid of all the ones with the Typo! Scroll down to see

That's what happens when you get charged by the letter.
I have my own feelings about entering currently made cars in a car show, but it does feel good winning a trophy
There are car shows and there are car showings (cars and coffee, just showing for fun, no trophies). The only one of the former that I participate in is one we have at work annually. I’ve been to our work car show six or so times with four different cars (2 C6, a C7, and now a C8). It took a rapid blue C8 to finally bring home the trophy.
