Default HUD position

I traded my 2023 for a 2026 and i'm frustrated with the positioning of the HUD. I adjusted the HUD positioning with my programmed seating. I thought the HUD would always be in the same memorized position when I started the engine. It requires adjustment each time i use the car. My old Vette never had this issue. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks for any insight you may provide.

I have a 2026 and have not noticed this problem. Did you try re-saving your memory seat positions after adjusting the HUD?

Maybe ask the dealer?

Make sure your setting in the infotainment says you can save it with the seat and mirror settings.

Thanks to all for making the HUD position itself to a programmed setting. I noticed the HUD would stow itself in the uppermost setting. I was able to reset the seat memory after adjusting the HUD position to a perfect viewing position. Thank you all for your quick response.

For the first 2 weeks the HUD moved below my sightline every time I started the car. It finally went away and stayed in position. Now it's fine. Now I have to contend with %100 brightness that never dims.
