From Google DeepMind AI

While the C8 Corvette is famously assembled at the Bowling Green Assembly plant in Kentucky, its North American parts content fluctuates by model year and specific variant.
North American Content (U.S. & Canada) The percentage of parts sourced from the U.S. and Canada has shifted recently according to data from the Kogod Made in America Auto Index and GM Authority:
  • 2025 Corvette Stingray: ~40% U.S. / Canada.
  • 2025 Corvette Z06 & E-Ray: ~41% U.S. / Canada.
  • Previous Years (2021–2022): Significantly higher, previously ranging from 62% to 86%.
International Suppliers
The remaining parts (roughly 59–60% for newer models) are sourced globally, with a heavy reliance on other North American neighbors and international hubs:

Mexico Supplies 31–32% of parts for the 2025 models, including electronics and interior components.
Italy Performance brakes are primarily supplied by Brembo.
France / S. Korea Various General Motors suppliers for specialized electronics or interior materials. Other Smaller percentages of parts are sourced from
China, Japan, Brazil , and Vietnam particularly for raw materials like seat foam and electrical sensors.

The C8 is becoming a foreign make.

Never trust AI (and please specify which AI was used). The Kogod link is 2021 data. Here's 2025: https://kogod.american.edu/autoindex/2025

Google DeepMind was used.
The Z06 in 2024 is at 72.5% North American content.
The base C8 went from 72% in 2021 to 70% in 2024.

Teslas lead with models over 80%.
