In scheduling my 5 year servicing I had forgotten to mention the requirement to replace the front lift fluid. I had gone in in person to make the appointment, so I went back today. Listed in his proposed services were a couple of additives, AC Delco 44K 19435370 was one. I told him I pass on Snake Oil. Or was it 88865595? Or both, he had two listed.

I didn't think that there were ANY fuel or oil additives recommended for out cars. I run almost exclusively Chevron Premium with Techron.

Although I don't buy from GM I do add Techron ~3 times/year.
Started with my 1st of two C7s and continued for my two C8s. It's still listed in the 2025 Owner's Manual. Gal with a C7 who always used Top Tier Gas had her furl sender read erratically. Dealer installed two bottles of the GM fuel treatment, Solved the issue.
Fuel Additives Statement in 2025 Owen's Manual If your country does not have TOP TIER
Detergent Gasoline, add ACDelco Fuel
System Treatment Plus−Gasoline to the
vehicle’s gasoline fuel tank at every oil
change or 15 000 km (9,000 mi), whichever
occurs first.
I often don't Top Tier gas so a few bottles/year cheap insurance. Just put a bottle of Techron in before filling the tank at Sam's Club non Top Tier. This is Listed as a Techron Benefits: Clean, restore and protect the entire fuel system, including sulfur-contaminated fuel gauge sensors
GM may be Techron. Same bottle shape. SDS could not verify.
When that gal with the C7 had ~100,000 miles she had to have the fuel sender replaced. Don't think this Pic is from her, but she mentioned the drivetrain having to be lowered. In the C7 to replace the sender (which is not that expensive), because of the large hose going from the left tank to right side tank the WHOLE DRIVETRAIN HAS TO BE REMOVED TO DROP THE TANKS. Not sure what the procedure is for the C8. So just in case I add. And it does help keep the injectors clean.
Ok, are you talking about the front lift hydraulic system or gas additives?
The front lift hyd system uses DOT 4 brake fluid is a hydraulic fluid.
5 year servicing of the front lift seems reasonable.
This is not what the Corvette Owners Manual Specifies as usable AND not required for any maintanence ACDelco Fuel System Cleaner 44K 19435370 is a 11 oz, high-performance gasoline fuel system cleaner manufactured by BG Products, Inc. for General Motors. It cleans the entire fuel system—including injectors, combustion chambers, and sensors—to restore engine power, reduce emissions, and remove carbon deposits. It is recommended for use at every oil change or every 10,000 km, with one bottle treating up to 20 gallons of fuel.
Genuine GM Part 88865595 is what is specified in the Owner's Manual but also not required for any maintenance: A 12 oz bottle of ACDelco Fuel System Treatment Plus for gasoline engines, designed to clean fuel injectors, intake valves, and combustion chambers. It removes deposits, improves performance, reduces engine knock/pinging, and treats fuel gauge malfunctions caused by corrosion. It is recommended for use during oil changes.
GM has no additives recommended to be added for the Lift hydraulic fluid, which as you note is DOT 4 brake fluid.
Techron additive should only be used once between oil changes, preferably full tank of gas thru the system just before you do the oil change. I use it too, but not top tier gas. Selection out here is somewhat limited. Generally the Chervron dealers charge $.50-$1 more per gallon.
I know that there isn't additive for the Front Lift, being simply Brake Fluid. It is just because I forgot to have it listed in the work to be done that I saw the list of proposed serviced to be performed and saw the additives (TWO) being listed. They were going to charge over $50 each for them. A bottle of Techron is much cheaper, and especially since it's in nearly all the gas I buy anyway, well THANX for all the replies and ideas.
The service manager DID mention that it was a BG product, rebranded.

You have a 2021 I see, which is what I have. So that manual does say if not using Top Tier fuel...."add ACDelco Fuel System Treatment Plus−Gasoline to the vehicle’s gasoline fuel tank at every oil change or 15 000 km (9,000 mi), whichever occurs first". It not clear to me if that is a recommendation or a requirement. I don't do it. I use TopTier when I can. But if you read further, it seems to suggest that for best results use both, like this: "TOP TIER Detergent Gasoline and ACDelco Fuel System Treatment Plus−Gasoline will help keep your vehicle’s engine fuel deposit free and performing optimally." I would have passed on the additives as well.

Yep, GM says once an oil change.
Chevron recommends more, as would be expected: Chevron offers a variety of Techron® products based on application. Please refer to the Techron® Product Comparison Chart for each Techron® product’s use frequency. For example, our Techron Complete Fuel System Cleaner is recommended for use every season (winter, fall, spring, summer)
What I do not understand is that Shell advertises their Nitrogen enriched gasoline. Normal air/fuel ratios are 9: to 13:1, mostly air which is ~70% nitrogen so the nitrogen in the air coming in is far greater than anything in the gas. They should not be having NoX in their normal street gas. That is great for power but would reek hell on emissions level.
Any gasoline chemists out there care to explain to me that Shell commercial 's real chemistry working? Reminds me of the Chrysler Hemi adds for the past decade + on the wedge-heads they all have. The 1st one in the '50's and then the 426 in the '60's did have true hemi-heads.
