Default Visor Warning Labels

Is anyone else annoyed by these warning labels, on all vehicles?

My recently delivered '26 SR 2LT Conv. is at the detailer getting wrapped and coated. Hopefully he can remove them with no residue. A you tube video suggested isopropyl alcohol and hair dryer. Any other ideas?

I'm excited that my vette is delivered, after a long wait LOL (Nov 12 - Feb 20), only to be waiting another week for the detailer to perfect it.

Just so you're aware, it is illegal to remove them. So the dealer's not going to do it.

They are painted on and will not be removed without damage, Most just get a cover decal. Look up on ebay.

Thanks for your input. I hope the detailer doesn't worry about that. If so, I'll do it myself.

Thanks for your alternative solution input. If my detailer doesn't remove them well, I will look into that.

Best is to cover.
here seems to be two fabrics - suede & cloth - so take care when ordering.
And yes the suede, @$40 most expensive fabric ever LOL.

It takes some effort but the glue can be removed to a point it cant be seen with a normal glance. The view while in the car is much better, less distracting and cleaner. I just used lots of time, microfiber cloths and 99% isopropyl.

My wife just makes elasticized slip over the visor covers. Mine are all black so they don't show at all.

I'd be much more annoyed about the visor's abject failure to perform meaningful functionality due to the design of the stays--than I would be about labels that are like mattress tags.

There are a variety of expensive products, relatively speaking, online that cover these warning labels.

In both my cars I covered those with matte black adhesive vinyl I bought at Walmart for about $2.

I soaked a paper towel with brake cleaner and then covered it with a piece of aluminum foil. Brake cleaner bubbles it off. You might have to do it a few times. Be careful and don't rub too hard.

Default Been There Done That

Same thought when we took delivery of our C6. I bought two precut patches to put over them. Seems I got them on eBay? But amazon no doubt has them as well. When we got our C7, I had the same plan. But never quite got around to doing it. After 7 years and 60K, I no longer saw them. Monkey see no evil. So when we got the C8, the plan was already baked in. Just ignore them. In time they will poof disappear. And predictive, they have.

I used a heat gun to remove them on my C6.

I didn't want to spend hours cleaning off adhesive, so I bought some carbon contact paper.

At least to me they are not as obnoxious color wise as in the past.

I've had my car for 5 years and had to go out to see what stickers we are talking about. Then I was like Oh, there are stickers there.
