Default It's been a while......

Well finally I am about to rejoin the Corvette community. I sold my 2001 Corvette C5 back in 2021 after 17 years of ownership. It was quite a sad day, but at the time it was the 'right moment'. I spent just over 2 years looking for a C7, but nothing that interested me came up. So, I settled for 'second best'. A beautiful 2023 Supra in bright yellow. A fantastic car, but it's 'not a Corvette'.
3 years later it's now time for a change. Whilst I still like the C7, even the 'youngest' ones are now 7 years old (thereabouts).
I guess you can probably see where this is going. Yes, I have recently put a deposit on a brand new C8. I cannot believe it. I cannot wait.
All being well I should get it before the end of the month. It's a 2026 (2025 model year) 3LT HTC. Torch red with Adrenaline red dipped interior. 20 spoke gloss black wheels. Z51 package. Over here in the UK all 'right hand drive' C8's come with the Z51 package and 'front lift'.
As you can imagine Corvette's are a very rare sight on British roads. Infact, I have yet to see a C8 on the road. I believe there are only 3/4 Corvette dealers in the UK.
So, I am counting down the days to when I get to pick it up.

I sold my C7 Z06 and then all Corvette prices went through the roof. I love the C7 but they were just too expensive to get another one. The C8 is so awesome. I just bought an E-Ray. You are going to love it.

If it's a MY2025, you have the famous/infamous "wall of buttons".

Enjoy the ride!

Congratulations! I was in the UK last year (Derby) area followed by a road trip to Cardiff Wales before heading back to London Heathrow and saw 2 C8’s in the wild. You definitely will have a rare site in the UK. Enjoy it!
