HTC Cable Issues
Well almost ready to get my HTC out of winter storage. Good news for me. Just wondering if anyone has found a replacement for the HTC cable issues where the soldered on stop seperates from the cable. I have a 2024 and wonder if the issue was ever fixed by GM at some point. Has anyone found a good fix for this issue or found an after market solution.

GM dropped the ball with this....It's been an issue since the C8 was developed, and why they wouldn't issue a bulletin for all owners to get a stronger cable installed is disappointing to say the least. I have a 23, and so far (knock on wood) haven't had the issue, but I honestly think about it every time I function the HTC. It seems like it's only a matter of time from what I read on all the posts. And the problem I have is, quite often this doesn't happen until the Warranty is gone, and the consumer has to pay to fix, which is total BS! (when its a known issue)

The issue has reported since the C8 came out in '20. just as the DCT issues and 3LT interior bubbling. The percentage of all three have been small but when it happens to you it's a big deal.
