Would any of you seriously consider paying 54% of new price for a 5 year old C8 with 75,000 miles? I think the folks at KBB are either smoking the funny stuff or perhaps neglecting the enormous accumulated inflation in the last few years.

Yes this.....wait till you tried to trade one of those....Reality will be harsh, especially for those who paid over sticker...
Encouraging? My 2019 GS M7 that I bought new is still retaining 100% of purchase price 7 years later. I can still get what I paid for it without batting a eyelash.
Yeah…what the heck does KBB know anyway…they should stick to what they know..and check with us first.
I have not found them to be particularly accurate on current values let alone predictions of the future, possibly because they spread their research and updating resources across a vast multitude of vehicles.
In my opinion you are better off doing your own research.
Yes, i don't disagree…but on the other hand I have not bought a used car in the past 30 years and trade in all my cars vs sell them privately so I can’t speak for their accuracy. I do use them to baseline my trade-in value but argument that with research...
