After searching for the past eight months, negotiating for several, passing on one that was too good to be true( $15K below KBB and sketchy Q&A with the dealer), a bunch that missed the tranny service milestones, and one that I was too slow to react to, found a 23 HTC, Z51, front lift, natural dipped interior, 16K miles. Much more confidence in the process due to the information gleaned from the advice/knowledge from y'all. Now I know I'm in the minority - it's a caffeine metallic. I kinda dig the fact that out of 58K C8's produced in 23, only 500ish were this color. And the dealer provided a letter, which frankly didn't influence my decision, that with the options, this is one of one. It's good to finally join the club..
Just installed the Mod4cars top controller.
Always like the caffeine color cars, and it was such a short lived color you will see very few of them on the road.
I am always partial to something unique, so long as it looks good.
Sharp looking car color really stands out. kinda wish I could have found one that color good luck and hope you have many milles of trouble free driving.

As usual, took me about twice the estimated 20 - 30 minute install, but it was a pretty simple process. Followed along the provided instructions supplemented with the Brink of Speed video. Works as advertised, door button becomes one touch, and more importantly, can now raise the top remotely. Never a particularly flexible person, ingress and egress much easier with the top down. Now I can "hop" out once in the garage with the top down, then button her up - worth the price of admission in my book.
I appreciate all of the positive comments. The color is definitely unique, but at 71, trying to broaden my vehicle color palette from my usual black or white. Heck, it shares garage space with a poison berry (purple) Harley CVO.
