I follow the 2025 and 2026 inventories on Chevrolet Dealer websites very close as I'm going to buy one in May or June. All of a sudden today the ones that have been at dealers for a longtime are gone I know they all didn't have a good day selling all at once. Is there any reason for this like GM moving them maybe to other dealers just curious really. Thank You.
I think it is because they are waiting for the software update to correct the turn signal issue. I believe GM is actually able to remove them even though they are at franchised dealerships.

Yes, a recall and stop sale order is on for a taillight issue, awaiting a software update solution, so all affected cars are temporarily pulled from online inventory listings.

I have an appt on April 20th to get the software update. I believe they have the solution ready. It also showed up on my car as a notification to contact the dealer to get this fixed.

I got the notificatoin via the app to contact the dealer. I was hoping I could do it remotely. I'm going to dump the Z51 brake pads and get something less dusty and I think I'll have the dealer install those and update the software.
What's wrong with the turn signal and tail lights?
Apparently the turn signals stop working without any notification of outage, still works on dash.
So, you wouldn't notice unless you are checking them or someone lets you know.

I see that some dealers have left the effected cars on their websites and they just post "Please Call", I have also been researching the 2025 and 2026 cars and from what I read, March and pre-tax season is slow. I also did see many disappear around April 1st. You can gamble and wait it out for screaming deals on the 2026 models as many will chose to wait for the 2027 model with the new engine and more horsepower, it all depends on how much Chevrolet raises the price too which is what many are probably waiting for.

That makes sense. When the update is complete, the available inventory should increase.

You would think that most of the unsold cars are 2026 MY which can be updated over the air so it would make sense for the dealership to update them ASAP which would be tougher for a dealership like MM that carries over 100 vehicles at any given time. The MY 2025 that don't have a fix yet are a different story and will soon be 2 MY's old and GM will probably have to reintroduce the $4k or more loyalty discount program to sell them. I was actually holding on to my 2017 to see if they would offer that for the MY 2026 and gave up as I didn't want to wait till December for that to possibly occur like it did for the MY 2025s. Ciocca had a loaded 2025 Stingray for the longest time that I was looking at that they were advertising for $16741which included a 4k loyalty discount even though GM shows that offer expired. That vehicle disappeared off of their webpage around the 3rd of April, so it either was sold or is awaiting the fix.
