In 60 + years of car ownership, I have never had one stolen. Not going to start worrying now.
I had one stolen in 1962 before I had a garage....not the least concerned about it now because the only time it is parked is in the garage.....nor am I worried about being car jacked as I seldom drive in an urban area......

Agree! (69 years, here)...
I've driven in all 48 of the lower 48 and most of Canada's Provinces.... never had a car stolen (I have more than 1,000,000 (yes - 1 million) miles in Corvettes, more than 300,000K in P-cars, more than 70K in Ferraris...and a lot of other cars in between....
So I use a couple of things. I have the Soler throttle control which I lock whenever I lock the car. I also have one of those heavy duty double bar clubs for the steering wheel, more for a visual deterrent. I also have a ODB port lock. While my car stays outside, I live in a townhouse development where all the homes are pretty close together around the parking lot. My spot is right next to my building. If someone wants to steal my car, pretty everyone including me would know when someone starts it. Not ideal for a thieve who doesn't want to attract attention. The only time it is really unattended is when I do these road rallies and it is parked outside a hotel overnight. But also in those cases, there usually a lot of nicer cars then mine up for the grabbing! Yea, reality is no system is 100% foolproof. I actually worry more about my 2025 Honda Civic Sport Touring Hybrid. Honda's are on the top 10 list of cars stolen. That said I just had the Ravelco anti-theft system installed in it.
