Default Transmission question

I have a 22 C8 with about 8000 miles. All the trans maintenance has been done at the appropriate time or milage intervals (fluid change and filter replacement). However I seem to notice when idling out of my garage, as I ease out then give it a little gas, it seems to rev a little before it fully grabs. Kind of like my childhood go-kart with a centrifugal clutch. I do not recall feeling this sensation previously, it seems new or more pronounced if not noticed before. It seems to function fine while driving and all else seems fine. Is this normal?

Is the parking brake set? Sometimes the car will need to rev a bit higher to break the bond between the parking brake shoes and rotors (sticks a bit before release).

Mine does the same and I don't have any issues with the transmission operation other than some gear whine around 55 mph.

I had the same problem with my 6000 mile 2022 C8 and it got progressively worse. Eventually the car was jerking from a standstill and stalled at intersections. There was no check engine light initially, but there was a CEL eventually and several DTCs. You can search for my prior post that includes the DTCs from my scan tool. My car is in the shop today(10+ days and counting). The only thing the dealership has said is that they do not believe it is a software issue.

It is curious that this is happening to low mileage 2022 C8s. I believe I have seen other low mileage 2022 DCT issues popping up recently.

Don't believe you have any issues with your DCT.

This transmission operates best at regular temperatures and and can be not as smooth when cold. The Tremac DCT also operates more consistently when frequently used.
